ACLS Training – Blended Learning (Choose Your Pathway)
What Is ACLS? Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) prepares healthcare professionals to manage adult cardiac arrest, peri-arrest conditions, and cardiovascular emergencies using AHA algorithms, effective airway management, medications, and team dynamics.
Who Needs ACLS? ACLS is required for nurses, physicians, paramedics, and other healthcare providers involved in advanced resuscitation and emergency cardiac care.
Blended Learning Requirement AHA certification requires a live, in-person skills session with an AHA-authorized instructor for guidance, coaching, and hands-on practice. Online components alone do not result in an AHA eCard.
Choose Your Online Pathway Complete one approved online option, then attend an In-Person Skills Session with Live Instructor.
Option 1: AHA HeartCode® ACLS
https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-acls, Self-paced AHA online course followed by an in-person skills session.
Option 2: Precourse / Instructor-Directed Online
https://elearning.heart.org/course/424. Structured online preparation followed by an in-person skills session.
Completion of the online component and in-person skills session fulfills AHA ACLS Provider requirements (Initial or Renewal) and results in the same AHA eCard.
