Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED Program). American Heart Certification. Students who successfully complete this course will receive Printed Digital Certificates on the same day of the course and/or email from eCards@heart.org. Certification is valid for 2 years. The American Heart Association BLS is the level of CPR certification needed for anyone with a healthcare license, working in a healthcare setting, or a student in a healthcare program. The BLS Provider course teaches CPR skills for Adult, Child and Infant. Skills to help chocking conscious and unconscious victims of all ages, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and use of Bag Valve Mask and Pocket Mask and more. Course Curriculum: 1. Watch Video of American Heart Association’s BLS Provider Course 2. Practice while watching video skills 3. Skills tests 4. Written Exam of 25 questions - Choice of ONLINE EXAM AVAILABLE - https://www.begincpr.net/ahablsonlineexam or take the exam the day of your class. (Passing grade is 84% or 4 incorrect answers) if you have 5 to 7 incorrect answers, the instructor will give you a verbal remediation questions, if 8 or more incorrect answers you will be given Exam B.
