Checklist in Facilitating Instructor Training

​

 

BOOKS AND MATERIALS

​

​

BLS Provider card from American Heart Association - Issue if Instructor do not have any (must take course as a student while other instructors are being monitored as an instructor and take and pass the BLS Provider Written Exam) - Additional Fee of $50 or if they take course during the Instructor Training.  

​

BLS Provider Course Fee Discount of $20, if student are enrolled Instructor Candidates.

​

Check Picture ID (State ID or Driver's License preferred) the day of the class.

​

BEGIN CPR IS PROVIDING BLS INSTRUCTOR ESSENTIALS

BLS Instructor Essentials Completion Certificate  (Order from Worldpoint.com,  (Students must have copy of the Certificate for their cards to be issued)

​

*If instructor candidate is unable to bring the required books, BeginCPR will have required books to loan  for that class date only (printed or ebook) students still need to purchase their own book.

FORMS AND EXAMS TO COMPLETE DURING THE LIVE TRAINING

BLS Instructor Essentials Classroom Exam - passing grade must be 84% (4 incorrect answers out of 25 questions)

​

BLS Instructor Application Form 

 

Montitoring Completion Form - Monitoring maybe done on the same day or if Instructor Candidate

​

Instructor Candidate will teach a BLS class (Renewal or Initial) - video presentation, instructor presentation, skills evaluation, facilitating a written exam and instructor trainer will provide guidance on issuance of Ecards and submission of roster. 

​

​

LAST STEP:  ALLIGNING WITH TRAINING CENTER WILL BE DONE AT THE END OF THE CLASS WITH THE INSTRUCTOR’S GUIDANCE.
