Service Description

You will receive your BLS eCard the day of the class - Two Year Certification. If you chose the Skills Session, you must complete the BLS Heartcode - https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls before attending the live portion Renewals, must show BLS Certificate at the live portion. The American Heart Association BLS is the level of CPR certification needed for anyone with a healthcare license, working in a healthcare setting, or a student in a healthcare program. The BLS Provider course teaches CPR skills for Adult, Child and Infant. Skills to help chocking conscious and unconscious victims of all ages, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and use of Bag Valve Mask and Pocket Mask and more. Course Curriculum: 1. Watch Video of American Heart Association’s BLS Provider Course 2. Practice while watching video skills 3. Skills tests 4. Written Exam of 25 questions - Choice of ONLINE EXAM AVAILABLE - (no limit on number of times you take the exam, smart phone friendly) or take the exam the day of your class. (Passing grade is 84% or 4 incorrect answers) if you have 5 to 7 incorrect answers, the instructor will give you a verbal remediation questions, if 8 or more incorrect answers you will be given Exam B.
