About

🩸 OSHA-Compliant Bloodborne Pathogens Training This OSHA-Compliant Bloodborne Pathogens Training program is designed to meet the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration Standard 29 CFR 1910.1030. It provides employees with the essential knowledge and regulatory guidance necessary to minimize occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials (OPIM). The course covers: Identification of Bloodborne Pathogens (HIV, HBV, HCV, and others) and their modes of transmission. Exposure Control Plans (ECPs): how they are developed, maintained, and your role in following them. Engineering and Work Practice Controls that reduce or eliminate exposure risks (e.g., sharps containers, safer medical devices, hand hygiene). Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): correct selection, use, and disposal to ensure worker safety. Hepatitis B Vaccination Program: employee rights and employer responsibilities. Post-Exposure Evaluation and Follow-Up: required steps, medical evaluation, and documentation. Communication of Hazards: OSHA requirements for labels, signs, and training. Recordkeeping and Annual Review: what employers must maintain and how compliance is documented. Through interactive instruction, real-world examples, and regulatory guidance, this training ensures participants not only recognize workplace hazards but also comply with OSHA standards for prevention, response, and documentation. ✅ Completion of this course fulfills OSHA’s annual bloodborne pathogens training requirement. ✅ A certificate of completion will be issued to each participant, documenting compliance. ✅ Annual refresher training is required to maintain OSHA compliance.
