Student must be at least 14 years old Day Three (4 hours) Topics: Hypothermia 45 minutes Heat-Related Illnesses 1 hour Lightning 30 minutes Altitude Illnesses 30 minutes Submersion Incidents (Drowning) 35 minutes Allergies and Anaphylaxis 40 minutes IMPORTANT: Please wear comfortable clothing, there will be good number of physical activities the day of your training. Designed for scouts and scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments, this course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away.
