Student must be at least 14 years old Day One (6 hours) Topics: Introduction to the Course: Wilderness and Remote First Aid Course Overview 30 minutes Wilderness and Remote First Aid Kits 15 minutes Assessment, Part 1—Primary (Initial) Assessment 45 minutes Assessment, Part 2—Secondary (Focused) Assessment 1 hour, 45 minutes Calling for Help and Evacuation Considerations 15 minutes Shock and Heart Attack 30 minutes Chest Injuries 30 minutes, Head (Brain), Neck and Spinal Injuries 2 hours (Partial lecture) IMPORTANT: Please wear comfortable clothing, there will be good number of physical activities the day of your training.
